The cryogenic LNG received at Hazira is unloaded into LNG tanks and stored at minus 160 degree centigrade atmospheric pressure. LNG is then pumped at high pressure through various terminal components, following which it is then passed through Open Rack Vaporizer (ORV) heat exchangers using sea water to warm up the gas. In the vaporization process, LNG of 80 - 85 bar and at -160 degree centigrade converts to natural gas with a pressure of 80 - 85 bar & at 24 - 26 degree Centigrade and enters the pipeline system. The regasified LNG is sent to Mora metering station for further distribution through pipelines. We also supply LNG by trucks to customers not connected to the gas pipeline grid directly from the LNG terminal at Hazira.
